Retreat to Athelington Hall Log Cabins
Situated within the private grounds of the historic Athelington Hall, our log cabins provide a perfect sanctuary to escape the pressures of urban life. This working farm, which dates back to 1620, is centred around a 17th-century Hall surrounded by an impressive moat and acres of open fields. Complete with a fine avenue of oak trees, the setting offers a tranquil backdrop for a well-earned break in the North Suffolk countryside.

We are situated in an idyllic location in North Suffolk, with the surrounding area serving as a thriving haven for wildlife. Wonderful walks in unspoilt countryside unfold virtually from the doorstep, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in nature. For those wishing to explore further afield, Colchester Zoo (42 miles) is a notable attraction, as well as the historic Sutton Hoo (21 miles), the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway (10 miles), the Camel Park Oasis (10.5 miles), and coastal Southwold (25 miles).

The farm is home to 17 fully fitted log cabins, inviting guests to enjoy a holiday in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. These cabins can comfortably sleep up to six people and all feature their own private hot tub. We understand the importance of including every family member, which is why some cabins are pet-friendly, ensuring your dog can join you on your family holiday. Additionally, selected cabins are equipped with a sauna for an enhanced relaxation experience.
