All but one of the holiday lodges has a private hot tub set under the dark, Cornish skies – perfect for stargazing on a clear night. Inside, the lodges boast sociable, open-plan spaces for spending quality time with family and friends, and many also welcome dogs.

If you can tear yourself away from the tranquillity of the lodge park, there is so much to see and do nearby. Both Cornwall’s north and south coasts can be reached within 10 miles, meaning you can spend a traditional day at the seaside on one of the region’s sandy beaches, or enjoy a relaxed afternoon pottering around one of the idyllic fishing villages.

The bustling harbour town of Falmouth (9.5 miles) has some excellent independent shops and eateries, as does the picture-postcard resort of St Ives (17 miles). Closer to home, Stithians Lake Activity Centre (2 miles) makes a great day out for adventure lovers, offering a whole host of water sports, such as paddleboarding, windsurfing, and kayaking.
