This is a lovely cottage, clean and fresh, lots of light! We were welcomed with a few nice Cornish treats too! And the owner popped over from next door to welcome us . Kitchen really well equipped, cooker and hob all easy to use. Nice big fridge freezer too. Shower was fabulous nice power and lovely towels, perfect after a day on the beach! TRead morehe house is only a 5 min walk from the beach , but all very quiet and calm. Bed was very comfortable. Widemouth bay is very beautiful and sea is easy and accessible, but also its very easy to get out and explore around Cornwall from here by car and visit other places . Theres the costal path to Bude only about 3 miles and buses at the end of the road too. We had a brilliant time and would loved to have stayed longer ! Hide

We would recommend staying at this property. It is very comfortable, clean and warm. We felt at home straight away. The parking is excellent. The property is well located for Bude and the surrounding area. It is only a short walk to the beach at Widemouth Bay where there are walks and two nice Cafes. Lovely modern accommodation like home from home and an ideal location for a beach family holiday. Bude is only a 10 minute drive away which is perfect for supermarkets, pubs,restaurants, takeaways and shopping. A selection of beaches are easily reached together with the canal walk and Bude Castle.

What a fantastic little house , in a brilliant quite location , just a short walk from the beach. The owner came and introduced herself on the first day and was so lovely and welcoming. We have already recommended it to others.

Clean and warm - too warm at times - and extremely comfortable. The property isn't the most picturesque though; there is very little decoration and everything seems rather functional. Plenty of room to move about and the kitchen was well stocked, with a water chiller in the fridge being a very nice feature.

A great wee cottage with everything you need. Everything is very clean and feels new. Thoughtful additions like milk in the fridge and Cornish shortbreads and fudge are really appreciated. Plush towels. Comfortable beds. Lots of space. Warm and private. Easy walk to the beach and to the coastal path. Shops in nearby town and any destination in CornRead morewall can be reached and visited in the day. We went to St Michaels Mount and St Ives and still made it back in time to make dinner. Hide

Loved our holiday home. Location was great for getting about. Tintagel, Padstow, Port Isaac etc all under an hours drive away. Bude couple of miles up the road. Would happily come back

We have just returned from our week at beach comber. Absolutely loved it . Spotlessly clean and everything you could need although a slip mat in the bathroom is needed. The only regret we had was we should have booked 2 weeks . Will definitely be returning. Thank you to the owner for fudge milk and biscuits it was lovely to meet you.
