A fabulous property, in a very quiet rural area. Well equipped with everything you would need. Large enclosed garden. Perfect for couples or family.

We chose Daisys Cottage from the holiday homes that ticked all of our boxes due to the modern style furnishings. We were not disappointed and it turned out to be very comfortable. The range of equipment and utensils in the kitchen was amazing. The cottage is situated on the corner of a small grass field overlooking rather old farm buildings. The otRead moreher sides are surrounded by hedges so we were completely private. The owners are building a second adjacent one, which will be ideal for bookings by two families. There was a very minor issue when we arrived that didnt bother us but which we reported for future guests. It was solved the same evening. During our stay we had friends visiting for 24 hours in a mobile home and the owner was very flexible about where they parked. She even offered to get them connected to the electricity but that wasnt necessary. The location near Bere Regis is ideal for walkers wanting to explore the Jurassic coast. For rainy days there is an impressive marine fossil museum close by as well as small National Trust houses that were previously homes of well known authors. There is also a beautiful botanical garden with 130 modern sculptures in the vicinity. Hide

The best equipped holiday rental we've had, it is so nice to not feel like we're being ripped off. Cleanliness is something we value very highly and the property was faultless in that aspect. Highly recommended for couples or families of 3/4.

Our 2 week Christmas and New Year stay was well provided for. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and suited us well. The place was quiet and relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. All necessary equipment was provided to enable us to be comfortable and happy during our stay. We were even asked whether we wanted Christmas decoratRead moreions. On Christmas day there was a local power cut but the owner came to inform us and to give further details; that was very much appreciated. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Extremely well equipped kitchen, good appliances and peaceful location. Plenty of seating for the four of us and we enjoyed playing Cluedo! Room for improvement for clothes storage in bedrooms but fine for a few days. Great location. Would highly recommend.

We had a great fortnights holiday in Daisys cottage. It made a good base for the majority of areas in the county that we wanted to discover. It is very rural, you cant dispute that! The owners were always easy to contact if we had any questions and were very helpful with anything we needed a decision on. Although the property ( apparently) doesn't Read morehave a microwave, if you mention that youd like one, it can be supplied. There was a great fan provided ( but not mentioned) so wed taken our own to cope with the heatwave!! The showers and bathroom facilities were great ( especially the en-suite where you could literally roll out of bed into your loo (always a bonus at a certain age!!!) Beds all comfortable. Nearest local spa type shops in both Bere Regis and Wool both very close. Didnt try pubs in those two areas but Wareham has a Kings Arms and Stoborough ( literally a few minutes away ) has another one!! (which is a bit pricier and more salubrious with excellent food!) Theres an ok Sainsburys and a good co-op both in Wareham. Hide

The bed was very comfortable and the house clean and tidy. It lacked a few things like enough crockery and cutlery especially teaspoons. The dishwasher, Microwave and oven worked well as did the fridge freezer. Broadband was good.

Great location for a family. Although garden is not fully enclosed, there is a large area for children to play safely outside the cottage. Bedroom storage is limited, however there is an additional hanger unit outside the bedrooms/bathroom.
