The Lodge on the whole was very cosy and clean. There was plenty of room for me and my dogs. It was a lovely quiet spot and there were walks around the lakes and woodland within the complex It was very peaceful, which was what I needed. The owners were very pleasan. 2 niggling problems were the oven, which was not usable, due to the fact that it nRead moreeeded a clean. The bathroom could have done with a better clean and the old cobwebs around the window be removed and the bath panel could have done with a wipe down as it was dusty. In the booking information, it states washing machine, but there wasn't one and some instructions on the operating of the TV and general housekeeping would have been nice. Also some information on walks and places of interest. A note that not all the lodges have WiFi, so check when booking. Mine did, and reception was very good. Hide

Beautiful lodge and stunning countryside views overlooking lakes. The accommodation was comfortable, warm and well equipped. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be. A peaceful setting. I would not hesitate to return again!

Had a really lovely break over Xmas, a special effort had been made to Festive Up the Lodge which was really nice and for a peaceful break its one of the nicest locations weve found

The lodge was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and was extremely well equipped and great value for money. A very comfortable bed made for a great nights sleep. The lakes are extremely well looked after and a great place to walk around or go fishing on.

Peaceful location, Tracey and Nick were lovely accommodating hoists.The lodge was amazing it was very clean and tidy with a nice decking area that is fenced off so the dog can be secure to use the decking area while outside. Really nice kept grounds and fishing lakes. We can't wait to return.

What an amazing time we both had. The fishing was superb, well stocked lakes and fish in really good condition. Lovely walks through the woods, fields and quiet lanes with the dog. great pub only 10 mins drive away. The lodge was comfy and everything we needed was there. Definitely going back again very soon!

The lodge was very comfortable and very well equipped. The site was very well looked after the fishing lakes lovely although as it was warm the fish were not biting but it was relaxing anyway would definitely recommend for a quiet peaceful holiday but could feel a bit remote for some people. Lovely walks for the dog as well.

If you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday in the heart of nature then this is the place for you and if you like fishing it's a win win. Wonderful setting and the hosts were lovely.

Lovely quiet environment to be amongst. The lakes are beautiful and the woodland walks on the evening are really nice. Be prepared to travel a short while to get to amenities. But Legge farm lodges are idilyc and well worth being totally away from traffic and hustle and bustle of every day life.

The lodge was lovely and the area was so peaceful. The bed was so comfortable and it had everything we needed. It would have been helpful to have a mop and bucket. It just felt like it was cleaned.

Best sleep had in a while, bed comfy. Heating was efficient and hot water/shower was very good. No welcome pack as per other cottages/lodges. Nice and quiet. Random dog roaming free pooing and diarrhoea on grass around lodge. It did have a collar and rules are dogs on leads! Entry through the patio door needed cleaning. The threshold was covered Read morein black dog hair. No seal to the side door. Hide

A bit out in the sticks a lot of driving to get to Devons main attractions but the lodge was lovely.

Everything was good, maybe little pricey, lovely owners, lovely location lovely lake, I would suggest anyone that stays do bring your own little fan of some sorts as it can get hot inside there.
