The cabin is as beautiful as the photos, and lived up to our hopes. The wild flower meadow is gorgeous, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife right outside the window. The bed is comfortable and the cabin is immaculate, with everything you could wish for to make for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Place Farm Cabin had everything you needed for a complete getaway. The bed was so comfy and we slept like babies. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was beautifully done. The table in the kitchen even doubled as a chequers board. The little terrace at the top was private and so thoughtfully laid out. Perfect . A beautiful place, in a stunning location run by a wonderful family. They were very friendly and hospitable, it made our stay there even better. There is lots to do in the area and within short drives. I would highly recommend and cant wait to go back.

A beautiful cabin with everything you could need, set in a fantastic location. Private use of the paddock was amazing for our dog and the secure fencing gave us peace of mind. Jakki was a wonderful host and was always on hand to help with any queries we had.

We were greeted by Jakki and Martin on arrival they were both very warm and welcoming. Once we were inside the cabin it was exactly what we were expecting warm and cozy with the extra touches added by Jakki and Martin for our special Christmas stay. Having the paddock and the large grass area at the front of the cabin was great for our bounding LabRead moreradoodle Stanley. We spent a lovely few days at Place farm cottage. Our hosts Jakki & Martin greeted us on arrival & we were previously asked if we wanted a cream tea, which we did! We were welcomed by Jakki and Martin on our arrival. Both are really friendly and did everything to make our stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible. The cabin is well positioned with a short drive into Okehampton and onto Dartmoor and the surrounding areas. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, very well finished with great craftsmanship. The cabin had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is perfect with amenities close by and plentiful beautiful walks right on the doorstep. The cabin is lovingly created by Martin & Jakkie. The location was perfect for us to get out & about and do some very stunning walks. The cabin is furnished beautifully and very comfortable. Beautifully appointed cabin built by the owner on the edge of Dartmoor with wonderful views including Meldon viaduct. Jakki and Martin were very welcoming and friendly as were their dogs Cooper and Maddy. Our dog Rocky loved having all the space in the field behind to run around in, aswell as the large front garden.
