A beautiful home away from home! Warm, cozy, spacious, catering for all guests! Questions answered, very accommodating and welcoming owners who allowed us to arrive a little earlier. Close to some wonderful places in mid Wales, a perfect base and location. Highly recommend we will return!

Lovely lodge, well maintained and fully equipped. The games room is excellent with lots of choice for everyone. Everyone loved the large comfortable beds and enjoyed the hot tub and marshmallows round the firepit. Friendly and helpful owners.

Amazing lodge, games room and hot tub were fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped, all the rooms were spotless and the beds were really comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful and kept in touch throughout the booking and the stay. Would definitely recommend the lodge and will definitely go back.

A wonderful place to stay, with everything you need for a perfect holiday getaway. The hot tub and games room are excellent, offering both relaxation and entertainment for guests of all ages. We used this cottage to enable a get-together of our somewhat scattered family (Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire and Vancouver). With ages from 18 to 81 we made good use of everything from the games room to the kitchen and the comfortable living area. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this delightful family-friendly lodge. So much thought has been given to the design and amenities. The firepit, hot tub and games room were used frequently and the options of indoor and outdoor dining were appreciated. Top notch!

Fabulous lodge in beautiful setting. Very spacious for our party of 8. We all loved it and would certainly book again. It was welcoming, comfortable and luxurious. We had great fun in the games room and jacuzzi! A very relaxing weekend celebrating our sons 30th with family and friends.

We felt welcomed at Lapwing Lodge before we'd even left for the trip! The owners ensured we had every available information before we arrived and whilst there also. When we met, we had a lovely, friendly exchange, with help over facilities and even telling us of the local area. The Lodge itself is immaculate, beautiful, fun, relaxing and with eveRead morerything you could possibly need. It's just magical! We used every area, including the hot tub, games room and fire-pit. All... so enjoyable and so 'extra' compared to other places. Can't fault the place or people at all. If you're thinking of going you won't be disappointed!! It was honestly, the best time we've had. Fabulous lodge, ideally located for Elan Valley, which was why we booked it originally. Very peaceful, extremely spacious and very comfortable. None of us had any complaints. Hot tub was a hit with the teens, as was the games room. The owner was a friendly host who was very accommodating. Would highly recommend this lodge.

A fantastic property of high quality. It felt comfortable, like a home from home equipped with everything you could want. There was plenty of space to be as a group or to break off if needed. The cottage was outstanding, exceptionally clean and well appointed, quality of the facilities were the best. The hot tub was perfect to unwind in after a day out, so relaxing. The location was perfect, so peaceful and close to the Elan Valley and Devils Bridge, a week was not long enough.

We had a great time at Lapwing. The hot tub was lovely, being under cover meant we could use it whatever the weather. The games room was where we spent most of our time.
