Property could do with a deep clean inside & out. No outdoor table or seating. Better quality mattress & bedding needed. Wet room looks grubby & inviting. Dining table not fixed to legs unsafe. TV not working with remote control.

Set in beautiful grounds, but honestly one step up from glamping! No Working TV/Internet and the property was Cold...I have stayed in many properties but I would not recommend this unless you are happy for just basic amenities and the need to cross into the other side, which means going outside in the dark and cold for the toilet at night

The location of accommodation and surrounding area is beautiful. However, the inside of the property needs attention. There was no internet or TV during our stay. The owners advised they were unable to rectify this. The bed is positioned in front of an 8 ft square picture window, that has no blind or coverings. This is overlooked by the ownersRead more house. Would suggest taking nightwear unless you want to be overly friendly with the owners and gardener. Would also suggest taking eye masks as it gets light at 5.30am ! Extending from the bedframe are 2 wings, presumably to act as side tables. The bedframe and wings are very low, at 8" high. The gap between the wings and the window sill is approx. 12", which has electrical leads trailing across the floor. A tight gap to get through in the night. An accident waiting to happen. The settee and chair are also very low. The kitchen is adequately stocked but you have to sit on the floor to operate the microwave. The wetroom has the only mirror in the property. Trailing an electric hairdryer into a wet wetroom and trying to do makeup is not recommended ! The shower is good but the fixed head has been installed at 5 ft. The walkway between the two parts of the building is 8ft, not 3ft, so shoes required to cross this at all times. The wildlife is amazing. We have seen deer and pheasants. Unfortunately it extends inside, as there are mouse droppings in the storage area in the bedroom side. Finally, the pint of milk in the fridge was very welcome, unfortunately it was 4 days out of date. Hide

I think personally it would be nice for you to welcome guests maybe, we sometimes felt awkward when seeing you come and go, and we werent exactly clear where we were and werent allowed to go, I know it says on the website and email, but we would of loved to walk around where the statues were, we have a lovely time away anyway, thankyou!

Definitely not a case of less is more. Whilst the setting was incredibly beautiful and very peaceful the accommodation was meagre. It felt like guests comfort hadnt been considered with a bed that didnt face the beautiful surroundings and had two trip hazard bespoke wooden wings that in the dark of the middle of the night you had to scramble over. Read moreI still have the bruise from that adventure! Limited furnishings so no side tables for putting drinks on and no terrestrial tv channels. Having stayed in many cottages its the little details that often matter like welcome packs, hand wash by the sink, an additional towel for when hair washing etc but overall it didnt feel cosy or comfortable so maybe somehow add some warmth to the interior. This is a stunning property in a beautiful garden. The location is secluded and so peaceful. The directions to get to the Coop were spot on and when we arrived everything was clean and tidy.
