What a wonderful situation for a great spacious cabin next to a waterfall, wth visiting birds, Joans chickens and a friendly deer across the fence who came to say hello. Couldnt have had a more relaxing week to end our busy Scotland tour. The cabin is also 5 mins walk from beautiful loch Shiel and 10 mins walk to Glenfinnan visitor centre with acceRead moress to the glenfinnan viaduct (hogwarts express) and to the railway station. I think Id reconsider allowing dogs / pets as the smell of them lingers and hair and mud are difficult to eradicate. Its a beautiful spot and a great quiet base from which to explore around. Getting to Skye was about a three hour drive in beautiful scenery.

A beautiful retreat. The pictures of the landscape on the website really are so close by, and the waterfall is out the front door. We were welcomed so warmly by the owner, made to feel at home and given advice on the area. The Glenfinnan Viaduct is a 10 minute walk (tourist centre) and the railway station/excellent dining cart is about 20 minutes.
