This lodge is in a perfect location to access Keswick and all it has to offer by either a pleasant walk along the river or by driving. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The scenery is fantastic and theres easy access to other areas of the Lake District. The gardens at the Mirehouse are well worth a visit only a short drive away.

Great lodge. Everything just as it should be. No drama. Perfect getaway for my wife and myself, couldn't ask for more. It's a credit to the owner.

As said on previous reviews, all the little extras were much appreciated, kitchen rolls, foil, sauces, bin bags, etc. Plenty of hot water, the owner has thought of everything to make the stay feel home from home. Just a short walk to Keswick centre.

Excellent cabin. Virtually faultless interior. The small touches, with a good number of tea bags and coffee sachets make more difference than you might expect, as hospitality is greatly valued.

Easy to find, close to shops pubs ect. The lodge was clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend couples to stay there. Did think it would be noisy, being fairly close to the A66, am pleased to say it was fairly quiet.

The lodge is in a great location for walking into central Keswick. It was in lovely and peaceful surroundings. Some of the furniture was quite worn. The small lodge had everything needed including a washer machine and a dishwasher.

A homely little cabin on a lovely secluded site, surrounded by woodland and fields. The cabin has all you need for an enjoyable stay, with a balcony and veranda to soak up the sun. A really relaxing stay. The lodge was warm and cosy and the location is fantastic with lots to do right from the doorstep including getting into Keswick. Quite basic but certainly has everything you need and appliances etc were all of a very good quality. Lovely, hot shower and plenty of hot water which can sometimes be an issue in holiday propertiRead morees. I have just come home from a lovely three night stay in this lodge. It is only a 20 minute walk from Keswick town centre. It had all the equipment I needed for a weekend stay. I was travelling alone with my dog and felt safe being on my own. The lodge itself is in a lovely location, and I would love to stay again in the future. Thank you!

A return visit for us. Perfect location for Keswick and to visit all parts of the Lakes. So relaxing to return to after a busy day out walking. All the comforts you need and so warm during the winter weather and storm we had! Fantastic owner too, whom we contracted with a slight issue that was responded to and rectified promptly. Will return.

Great little place good location only 20 min walk to Keswick, my only concern was a quite a busy road onto roundabout, I think in the main holidays I think it would be even more busy but this is just a small niggle, very clean and very comfortable.
