Lovely place to stay, the lodge was comfortable and kitted out with all the necessities. The surrounding area was amazing lots of places to go for a walk.

What a beautiful place and location! The village itself is stunning with lovely walks and great local pubs. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our group of two couples, two dogs, and a baby. The owner was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, arranging for a cot to be collected, allowing us early check-in and late check-out, and quickly cominRead moreg to assist when we had trouble locking the door. I cannot complain one bit about the exceptional service. We had incredibly warm weather during our visit and felt the cabin layout might lean slightly more towards a cozy winter stay. However, the place was lovely with plenty of outdoor space, and we will definitely be booking again in the winter to take full advantage of the log burner and hot tub. The property truly is a hidden gem Little things that made it for us like milk tea and coffee as well as a coffee machine. Would recommend if using the hot tub to bring a dressing gown 10/10 from us

Lovely modern lodge in a great location between Colchester and Ipswich. Great for local walks, countryside views and wildlife. Flatford mill just a 10 minute walk away. Good amenities, hot tub a bonus.

Not what we would consider luxury, have been in better lodges for less money, yes it's quite and private the hot tub was a nice touch, do not be fooled by the photos they are not up-to-date, then hedges are not well maintained and consists of brambles and hawthorn bushes, there is no wardrobes in the bedroom and a lack of comfortable soft furnishinRead moregs. Quiet location lovely walk to Flatford and Dedham. Easy drive to places like Framingham, Sutton hoo, Woodbridge, Colchester and Manningtree.

This is a lovely well appointed cabin and we were lucky that we were afforded the privacy of Constable. The hot tub is basic but perfectly adequate. Everything was nice and clean and didn't feel as tired and second hand as it usually does in this type of accommodation. Super location and great lodges. So many thoughtful details and everything we could possibly need. It was a real joy. Coffee machine, country walks from the doorstep and a hot tub!

The lodge is in a lovely location and is perfectly sized for a couple or small family. However we felt it lacked attention to detail with some broken fixtures within the cottage. Take towels or dressing gowns for hot tub as you only get one towel per guest. However, when we raised a concern with the hot tub they were quick to respond.

Really beautiful small group of eco lodges set in the most peaceful little corner of Flatford. Walking distance to Flatford Mill and Dedham.
