Too many things wrong to mention, most expensive property we've stayed in but without doubt the worst one, lodge looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long long while, there were cobwebs everywhere, had to clean all the worktops before we could prepare anything in the kitchen, the shower was leaking in one of the wet rooms, the heating was on Read morecontinually for the first three days, one of the party had to sleep on the sofa because of the continuous noise in one of the bedrooms of the boiler & water being pumped, a heating chap came out after numerous requests at the reception & turned it off but said if it goes cold we wouldn't be able to turn the heating back on, then midweek the toilet flush handle broke & had to wait almost two days for that to be mended, all in all the worst holiday experience we've had.... A beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and toasty warm lodge. The setting is extremely peaceful and quiet and lodges are well spaced out giving a real feeling of tranquility. Staff were friendly and helpful, visiting to inform us of the escaped sheep and cow that were wandering past the lodge
