Attractive, comfortable, and well-equipped cottage. Its beautifully designed to make the best of the wildflower meadow and view of the Tamar - I loved the outside space and the way the patio doors in both lounge and bedroom brought the outside in. Those wanting to explore the area will need to be prepared for some adventurous driving; but there are lovely spots around that are well worth seeing. Quiet Cottage is perfect ! In more than 16 years of renting a holiday cottage we've never encountered a better one. The view is fantastic, the hottub very comfortable and private, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Could not be better !

This is an outstanding property living up to its name. We enjoyed a relaxing break waking up to a wonderful view every morning was so uplifting. The cottage was very comfortable & well equipped with plenty of reading matter for those rainy days. Our thanks to Stuart, our very attentive but unatrusive host.

Second stay here, just as good as the first time. Comfortable, warm, relaxing to watch the river ebb & flow. Great privacy, hot tub tucked away from view, swimming pool, whats not to like. We had a brilliant Christmas at this property. It was well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and the wall to ceiling windows afforded fantastic views of the river and valley. A short drive took us to Dartmoor for bracing walks. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.

We've just had a lovely holiday at Quiet Cottage. The cottage was spotless, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the local countryside, with walks right from the doorstep to the river Tamar where there is a small caf which is open for breakfast (not every day of tRead morehe week). Absolutely beautiful place. View is fantastic and the area is extremely peaceful. Bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is large and luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need and we loved using the very private hot tub. I would highly recommend this stunning lodge.

This accommodation is of very high quality and provides a fantastic place to stay. So comfortable it is difficult to leave :-) The views are wonderful and the pool is an added bonus. Quiet cottage is aptly named - not a sound apart from bird song! Idyllic location views to the estuary and surrounded by an abundance of wild flowers. Genius design making it spacious warm and your every need catered for - superb bed never slept so well! Bonus having the hot tub and use of a lovely swimming pool. Will definitely return.

Beautiful cottage. Everything you needed was there. Cleverly designed and architecturally brilliant. The views are amazing and a nice walk down to a cafe by the estuary (open Thurs, Fri & Sat). Quiet Cottage is aptly named - not a sound apart from birdsong.

There is only one word - PERFECT! The cabin, location & facilities were outstanding with great circular, challenging, walks from the doorstep and a lovely cafe at Weir Quay. We've simply read books, swam in the pool, walked in the countryside and soaked in the sunshine all week (with the odd bottle of wine!). Would highly recommend.

Great location, overlooking the estuary from the bedroom and the living area is fantastic. Easy to spend time just watching the river ebb and flow. What a fabulous stay we had in Quiet Cottage. The accommodation was fantastic and had absolutely everything that you could possibly need.
