Cottage was clean and spacious had all extra additions WiFi ps 5 and Netflix etc on every television and the hot tub was an added bonus which we used every day and we also received a welcome basket of goodies from the owner which was really appreciated.

Excellent place to stay, everything that you need is there. Best place in the Lake District we have ever stayed and we have been going for 20 years. Arrived to an extremely wonderful hamper and a birthday card, thoughtful touch, as we were celebrating my birthday there. The kitchen was full of kit, really impressed. The netflixs and Amazon Prime weRead morere handy. The hot tub was massive!! Enjoyed the hot tub everyday, taking in the awesome view. Beds were comfy and the shower was roomy. A fabulous property in a fabulous location within easy reach of the lakes and dales. Everything we could possibly need during our stay was provided, including top end furnishings and appliances and, a lovely welcome hamper greeted us on arrival. The promotion photos really don't do the property justice. Highly recommended

As soon as we entered the property the view from front entrance was outstanding . The welcome basket was beautiful and there was even a birthday card in there for my youngest son . The place was so clean there was everything there that you needed and more . Four poster beds so comfy and views spectacular from every window . Absolutely beautiful villa , 2 storeys , with fabulous views from balconies over and down into the quarry . End of small track so very quiet however just 6 mins drive to the M6. Absolutely fabulous property with a lovely view of the quarry, weather was beautiful, the hot tub was a welcome addition, we went to the Eagles Head about a mile away & the food & the staff were lovely, we visited many of the towns in the surrounding areas & went for a lovely walk in Mallom, we would definitely recommend this property & both of theRead more dogs did too, it was just like home from home, including very comfortable beds & we will definitely book again, we stopped in Higher Clearwater Hide

We had the three bedroomed lodge at Jackdaw quarry which is situated at the end of the row so we had no passing traffic and lots of privacy. The lodge is very well equipped to cover all eventualities and furnished for all weathers. It was so comfortable that we felt at home really quickly.

We've had a lovely week in a comfortable, clean and brilliantly equipped lodge. Fantastic views, from the outdoor decking, super comfortable beds. Kids happy with smart TVs in each room and excellent wifi (and board games too!) , dogs happy with enclosed garden. Great location for lakes, nearby supermarkets. We could have stayed for another week anRead mored would love to come back. Also recommend visit to Kirkby Lonsdale a pretty village with riverside walks. Hide
