Staying at Thornton Park Escape was a wonderful experience, 1st and foremost we needed somewhere our 2 dogs could feel at home, well this lodge was perfect lots of open spaces, enclosed garden. The lodge itself is very spacious, clean, the beds are very comfy. There was nothing we needed it is well stocked and the views are amazing 360degrees. Apart from answers given to owner the cottage has a great view day and night. Comfortable furniture and is well equipped.

We recently stayed at this property to attend a family wedding. What can we sayeverything about it is brilliant. The property is spacious, comfortable and clean and everything you would possibly need is provided. The views are stunning and the hospitality second to none. We had an amazing time in the cottage. The views were spectacular from all the large windows The location was perfect for walking and there is a local pub, the Alma which is only around half a mile walk. The food they serve there is fantastic and would definitely recommend. The walk back is uphill so not for everyone if you have mobility problems. We had a wonderful stay. The lodge is brilliant and is really well equipped. We particularly appreciated the bed bumpers and childrens cutlery for our little one. We had some lovely days out and would definitely visit again. Very helpful owners too and lovely to see the animals

Beautifully presented lodge, as soon as you open the door you feel welcome. Greeted by wine, beer and biscuits, and a VERY well equipped kitchen including a coffee machine.
