An amazing lodge in a perfect location for exploring Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Cruachan Dam (used for the filming of Andor). The lodge was everything we expected (from the online reviews) and lots more! We loved the stunning views and the facilities included absolutely everything you might ever need during a stay. Lovely property. Clean and bright in a beautiful location. It took us 35 minutes to walk to Biggar High Street but there is plenty of free parking there so its very easy to drive if the weather is not so good. Colin was swift to respond when a minor issue arose and it was sorted out in no time at all. We would not hesitate to stay again

Had an amazing stay at The Hideout - Owls Nest. Colin and Jill are wonderful hosts and always on hand if required. Everything is spotlessly clean and kitchen has everything you need. The surrounding views are brilliant and it's a short walk into Biggar. Would definitely recommend a stay.

The place was very very clean with everything you could need. The views were beautiful and the hosts let us have our privacy which was nice. Our only downside of the location was that we didnt believe it could be classed as a short walk into the town. It took us 35 minutes and we are pretty fast walkers!
