Well appointed holiday lodge with everything we needed. Very comfortable and an ideal base location for exploring south east Devon/West Dorset.

A beautiful, clean spacious lodge, tastefully decorated, just minimal ornaments to make it feel homely. Both tiers of the garden had comfortable chairs.Both the beds and lounge furniture were comfortable.Well equipped kitchen. We have stayed in many different cottage/lodges over the years across the UK but this has to be the best ever. Location was great to go everywhere, the owners were available and helpful. Lovely surroundings easy access. This really is home from home.

I would use this accommodation again and recommend for touring in this area as it was very welcoming, clean and comfortable in a quiet location which was easy to find. Dog friendly and good walks nearby.

Comfortable spacious lodge. Enjoyed seeing the ponies and rabbits, also an owl landed. Nice welcome packs for humans and dog. Great privacy between the two lodges. Would book again if visiting the area.

Absolutely perfect holiday.Everything you needed was available, it was like home from home. Spotless and cosy. The welcome pack for us and our dog was so thoughtful. The surroundings were great and the resident ponies used to come a greet us. Our granddaughter loved them. Great location for visiting. We managed Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Exeter, Picton Read moreGardens and the Donkey Sanctuary. All within easy driving distance. Nice pub just the road, which served lovely food and was dog friendly. The lodge was very clean and comfortable.The owners had thought of everything and the welcome packs for us and our furry friend were so lovely. It was in a good location to explore the local area and beaches.Our kids enjoyed seeing the ponies and watching the bunnies in the fields.We had a super week at Acorn Lodge.

The accommodation was perfect for our first holiday with our dog. A great base for trips to the beach, into the woods and down to the river.
