We stayed in Nelson Lodge for a week in mid August and were very pleased. Clean, modern, well equipped, close to town and the shops but tucked away from the noise with a view to impress. Host was very commutative both before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again on our next North Devon trip!

Nelson Lodge is comfortable and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean, bright and airy, and conveniently situated. It's in a quiet rural setting, yet only a few minutes drive from the centre of Barnstaple. We would happily stay there again!

A lovely cottage, one of two, on a small caravan site (max. 6 campers) 1 km outside Barnstable. The cottages are separated from the campers by a fence. A quiet place to return to, after a busy day sightseeing.
