Thecottage is clean and tidy Heating and hot showers perfect. The windows unfortunately all dont open properly

We were at this accommodation for short break 2 adults and 2teenage children and 1dog.At first sight the grounds look well cared for and tidy,however on closer inspection the crazy golf needs landscaping and the playground had broken equipment. Advertised facilities were not usable there is no golf simulator and there is only fly fishing on the resRead moreervoir which should be made clear as these were the 2 facilities which made us choose this site.There is no fenced area in which to exercise your dog. Cottage was fine, however not great for 4 adults, more suited to 2 adults and 2 children. Outside furniture not very comfortable and we thought the hot tub was dirty and used recently and not cleaned.

The site is beautiful and quiet. The restaurant was lovely. The hot tub was a treat but not a lot of privacy as it was at the front of the caravan facing the road. Just a bit more attention to cleanliness and it is an ideal lodge for a relaxing holiday.

I wouldn't go back with kids there is not much to do for them. I thought the restaurant was expensive. The golf simulator didn't work on site. Internet reception is poor. It's a great base for visiting St. Andrews. Would be great for a romantic weekend away. Very disappointed. Gas grill didnt work (have video), hot tub was cold after a long drive. Balcony furniture was filthy, no clean seating. Inside, cupboard handle broken, kitchen radiator leaked. Only 2 outdoor glassesone full of sugar. Entry was confusing due to unclear key safe instructions. Not the standard expected for the price paid.

Modern clean, cosy, comfortable lodge with added bonus of hot tub. Had a lovely meal and drinks in the onsite restaurant. We will be looking to return again next year and would highly recommend staying here.
