A compact and well equipped cottage convenient for exploring the Suffolk coast, Sutton Hoo, Framlingham Castle and Snape Maltings just a few miles away. Excellent for the dog with a safe enclosed space and easy access to woodland walks. Very welcoming owners.

The Lodge is in an ideal location with lots of places to visit & nice dog walks. The owners Debbie & Craig are friendly welcoming & very approachable. We would like to visit again.

We had a lovely 2 weeks at Scapa Lodge. It is a comfy lodge and is in a good location for visiting some beautiful places. It is very handy for dog walking to have Tunstall Forest and common on the doorstep. Debbie and Craig, the owners, were very friendly and helpful, an Woody the dog, loved them too.

This lodge was absolutely delightful. It was well equipped extremely clean and comfortable in every way. The location was ideal, plenty of great walks on the doorstep. plenty to see and do just a short distance from the lodge. Craig and Deborah (the owners) were charming and eager to help if needed. The garden was visited on occasions by the local Read morewildlife which we watched with interest from the kitchen window. It just felt so relaxing and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. Excellent clean cottage in a great location. Ideal for dog walks on your doorstep and visiting the local area. The owners were very friendly and helpful especially with their knowledge of the local area.

Very comfortable lodge with all the amenities you would need. Lovely patio area to sit and have breakfast. Excellent location surrounded by nature with the excitement of seeing wildlife in the garden. Appreciated the enclosed space to be able to let my dog off lead. Forest nearby for walks. Owners were friendly and happy to help if needed. RecRead moreommend the Green Man pub in Tunstall and The Coach and Horses in Melton for food and friendliness. Would visit again. Hide

A lovely, comfortable, well-equipped cottage set in a large quiet garden. We spent much time admiring the birds, butterflies and flowers and the views over the surrounding countryside. The welcoming owners were unobtrusive but aways on hand for help, advice or just a chat.This was our second stay at Scapa Lodge and we shall definitely return.

Lovely lodge in fantastic location. Hosts were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us whilst we were there. Offering information on places to go and happy to discuss our adventures upon our return. Couldn't have asked for anything better. We had a fabulous relaxing few days away thank you.

Very comfortable clean lodge in nice quiet rural location. Debbie and Craig couldnt have been more helpful. Plenty of beautiful woodland walks with loads of wildlife in immediate vicinity.We had a very pleasant stay including the biggest thunderstorm I think Ive experienced in the uk. Many Thanks

Thanks to Craig and Debbie for making us so welcome. We had a great holiday (in spite of the mixed weather), the cottage is within easy reach of the coast, and lovely forest walks are on the doorstep. The property itself was well equipped, clean and comfortable and set within a spacious garden. We hope to return.

We found the accommodation very nice, well equipped and comfortable. The owners were lovely and could not have been nicer. A small fenced in garden was super useful for the dog.

We had everything we needed for a good holiday. The lodge was ideal for two and situated in a rural setting. It's very dark when you turn the lights out! Debbie and Craig made us feel very welcome and were on hand if needed, offering good local advice. We enjoyed our stay in south Suffolk.

Overall a very good property, excelent location, very peaceful and quite. A great place to 'get away from it all'. The accomadation was very well equiped. Everything one needed was there. Cleaniness was of a high standard. Parking space off road and close to property. Would consider a return visit when next visiting the area.
