Step aboard this converted 19th-century boat for a holiday with a difference on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. Fittingly nautically themed, it sleeps up to six guests across three characterful cabin-style bedrooms, making it a fantastic choice for families or couples seeking an unusual stay. You’re just 500 metres from the beach, and the property overlooks the RSPB reserve at Snettisham, making it perfect for wildlife lovers, walkers and anyone who enjoys spending time by the sea. The quiet beach is considered safe for swimming and windsurfing, while birdwatchers will be spoilt for choice with the reserve (entry 5.5 miles away) and Titchwell Marsh (10 miles). Heacham (1.5 miles) has sandy beaches, welcoming pubs and restaurants, along with the popular Norfolk Lavender (2.5 miles) where you can wander among fragrant fields. The Victorian seaside resort of Hunstanton (2.5 miles) is famous for its striking striped cliffs, elegant Esplanade and family-friendly beaches.

On arrival at this 1870s vessel, which is beautifully wood panelled throughout, you’ll climb the steps onto the front deck and enter straight into the welcoming lounge. Here, an electric burner and Smart TV create a cosy place to unwind after a day exploring the coast. Large windows frame lovely views across the sand dunes, adding to the boat's charm. Beyond the lounge is the well-equipped kitchen for making holiday meals, with a door leading directly onto the rear deck. Continuing through the boat, you’ll reach a double bedroom tucked into the bow, which really makes the most of its position with 180-degree views across the nature reserve. There’s a second double along with a twin which is particularly well suited to children. Completing the interior is a shower room with a WC.

Outside, the boat is surrounded by grass and has two raised sun decks, so you can easily make the most of fine weather. The front deck catches the evening sun and is equipped with outdoor furniture, a gas BBQ and a gas heater for relaxed al fresco meals. At the rear, the second deck has a table and chairs overlooking the nature reserve – lovely for sitting with a morning coffee and watching the ever-changing birdlife. There are steps down to the surrounding grassed area, and private parking for up to four cars directly in front of the property.
