Spend lazy days building sandcastles and rock pooling at Porth Beach (2 miles), or head to the sheltered cove of Lusty Glaze (2.5 miles) to go paddleboarding. Surfers can chase the waves at the famous Fistral Beach (4 miles), which is one of the best-known surf spots in the country. Alternatively, come face to face with sharks and rays at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium (3 miles), or meet the lemurs and penguins at Newquay Zoo (3 miles).
