A stunning conversion in a peaceful location with so many beautiful places to visit all within 30 minutes drive. The cottage itself has a very well equipped kitchen comfortable sofas and a large bed, we slept a treat!! The gardens were a wash with wildlife and beautiful trees to sit underneath. We were so sad to leave.

The cottage was fabulous. We found it very well equipped. It was warm and very comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and a lot of thought had gone into the design making it perfect for a holiday. The property was out of town so very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend this property. We booked way in advance as we were going to a faRead moremily wedding in another area of Kent. Superbly imagined, designed and presented holiday cottage, cosy and comfortable, neatly compact yet seemingly spacious. Very well equipped. Great location: footpaths in almost all directions! Short drive to many local attractions. We only stayed two nights but this cottage is so good, we were truly impressed. On a personal note can recommend St CriRead morespin's Inn for wonderful local-pub atmosphere and gorgeous meals. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway. Its set on a private plot with the use of a delightful garden, to be there in warmer months must be wonderful. The decor is tasteful and comfortable and the bed is wonderful. There is everything you need in the kitchen and great farm shops and towns nearby to get supplies.

Whilst the property was clean and well presented it was very much darker inside than indicated by the photographs on the website. This necessitated having the lights on most of the time especially when sat at the dining table. The light above the table was merely ornamental and the yellow glow inadequate for anything other than eating. UnfortunatRead moreely, having suffered back trouble we found the sofa very low and uncomfortable. Also having only 1 1/2 shelves in the fridge proved a challenge for a self catering holiday. Hide

This is a wonderfully renovated building which has been been well furnished to a high standard, the bed being particularly comfortable and well sized. A lot of thought has been put into it. There is a nice wild life garden area and always bird song, and on one evening the local fox made a fleeting appearance. The location was good for Deal and SandRead morewich, and the road network meant that the gardens of Great Dixter and Sissinghurst and the oysters at Whitstable were relatively easily available, although Derek Jarman's garden at Dungness was a bit more of a trek.
