Wales is an ideal choice for a romantic break with its warm welcome and lush landscapes. Wales even has its own special day dedicated to love, St Dwynwen's Day on 25 January, and Cariad is the Welsh word for ‘love'.

“Fantastic location, we found we never had to travel further than half an hour to find fantastic restaurants and plenty of things to do during the day. The lodge was very comfortable and warm. It had everything you could want for cooking and eating in. It was very peaceful sitting in the hot tub, looking at the stars and occasionally seeing the owls flying around. We would definitely stay again.”

“The lodge was set in beautiful surroundings, a lovely, safe enclosed garden for our dog. The lodge was lovely and clean and well equipped; the hot tub was a bonus. Would recommend this cottage as an escape from busy city life, where you can switch off, relax and enjoy the countryside.”

“Forest Retreat is an excellent property. It is spacious, well-equipped and clean. The garden is secluded and benefits from a hot tub, swing seat, loungers and BBQ. It is fully enclosed and safe for dogs. The location is excellent, with easy access to the New Forest, the coast and attractive towns such as Lymington, Christchurch and Beaulieu.”

“The perfect cosy retreat for our Christmas stay in the Cotswolds! The accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully decorated for the festive season. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and it was great having use of the large field nearby to give our dog a run around each morning.
